“Wichita State University Opera Theater, under the direction of Professor Alan Held, will present the annual "Scenes and Songs" performance at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, in Wiedemann Hall.

"Scenes and Songs" has become one of the favorite performances on the yearly opera calendar since its inception in 2018. This year, the 60-minute performance features vignettes from multiple opera classics, including  “The Tenderland”, “The Rake’s Progress”, “Mass”, “Trouble in Tahiti”, “A Little Night Music”, “Mefistofele”, and "Die Zauberflöte”.
