Emily’s pedagogical approach to music focuses on bodily awareness and the ability to find freedom and limit tension during performance. Her approach to pedagogy is holistic; she hopes to provide students many tools to implement in their various performance engagements so that they are prepared for whatever opportunities come their way.

Joe Schmitt

Joe is a professional symphony musician and teacher. He sees music as a journey of discovery and self-improvement, through the development of technique and pursuit of excellence in viola and violin playing.
